From a global perspective, we saw Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates becoming the first countries of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to introduce Value Added Tax (VAT). Economies around the world continue to explore new ways to extract oil hence making the oil and gas sector unsettled and oil prices volatile.
